School Events, CPD and Training

The GSW Music Hub is here to support our wonderful workforce and there will be multiple opportunities throughout each academic year for music leaders, music tutors/teacher, senior leaders and anybody who is involved for in music education to come together either in person or virtually to find ways to network and develop their skills.

A key part of this offer will now be lead by our new Lead Schools who will be supporting and promoting training opportunities to schools around Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.

What's on offer?

In person conferences with fantastic guest speakers and workshops to ensure you are hearing the most up to date, and relevant, music education initiatives and strategies in place for England, as well as being able to network with colleagues from across the Hub.
Virtual workshops / webinars to help develop skills and understanding in key areas of the National Plan for Music Education and the Curriculum.
Free specialist advisory support visit / Individual bespoke support is available for those who are looking for help in a bespoke way, whether that is help to write their School Music Development Plan, develop their curriculum offer, support progression routes or simply to offer peer support.
